Generally domestic direct flights takes about  an hour or an hour and 20 min. If you catch none direct flights it may take longer that was buses will be much reasonable way to travel for you.

In istanbul you can catch flights from Istanbul airport or Sabiha Gokcen airport. There are domestic flghts from both airports to all cities of Turkey which has airport.

Note: Istanbul airports are an hour drive from the old city or Taksim square. From Sultanahmet old city there is regular shuttle buses for transportation to both airports. Please keep in mind to Catch your transfer shuttle which is departing  at least 3 Hours before your flight departure time. Because istanbul traffic is realy busy some times of the day and it may take  sometimes 45 min more then normal.

Shuttle buses are reasonable way to reach airports. and highly recommended is head booking. because the shuttle buses are generally small minibuses which is 14-15 seats. if you can not find seats you have to catch a private airport transfer or Taxi.

Taxies are expensive way and also no responsible to reach to airport on time so instead of Taxies you can Book a private airport transfer will be much better for your comfort and reaching on time to airport for your flights.
