Visa Requirements Turkey:

  1. Visa: Check the visa requirements for your nationality. Many visitors can obtain an e-Visa online before arriving in Turkey. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended departure date.

When to Visit:

  1. Weather:
    • Turkey experiences diverse climates. Coastal areas have a Mediterranean climate, while central and eastern regions have more continental climates. Summers can be hot, especially in the interior, while winters can be cold with snow in some regions.

  1. Airports:

    • Domestic flights are available for traveling between major cities. Airlines such as Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, and AnadoluJet operate domestic routes.
  2. Intercity Buses:
    • Turkey has an extensive intercity bus network. Bus trip is comfortable and economical, connecting cities and towns across the country.     • Renting a car or minibus with driver is a convenient option, especially for exploring more remote areas. Roads are generally well-maintained, and driving in Turkey allows you to discover the country at your own pace. Currency and Payments in Turkey:

    • The official currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY). Credit cards are widely accepted in mostly shops and ATMS, but it’s advisable to carry some cash, especially in more rural regions. You can use also USD or Euros when you make shopping in the bazaars. For money exchange you can do it PTT, Exchange office, or at banks. Banks are always busy and you will vaste long time  but change offices are easy to change money.
